Job summary

VIQU IT Recruitment in London or Horsham is seeking a Data Programme Manager to lead a data workstream within a major insurance transformation programme. You will drive data ingestion, transformation, storage and governance to create a trusted single source of truth across Commercial and Specialty Lines.

You will translate complex requirements into structured data initiatives, manage delivery plans, budgets and risks, and collaborate with data architects, engineers, and governance specialists

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale data transformation programmes within insurance.
• Strong knowledge of data platforms (Azure, Databricks) and Power Platform.
• End-to-end data solution delivery experience.
• Strong programme management skills including budgeting and risk mitigation.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into clearly defined data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the data workstream within a major insurance transformation programme.
• Translate business requirements into structured data initiatives and define scope, milestones and outcomes.
• Develop and manage integrated delivery plans across multiple workstreams.
• Drive the delivery of modern data solutions including ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption.
• Oversee development of a single source of truth for critical business data across Commercial and Specialty Lines.
• Embed data governance frameworks including ownership, quality controls and compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional data teams to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Manage senior stakeholders and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes.
