Job summary

inMusic is seeking a Data Product Developer to build and refine data-driven capabilities across customer, commerce, content, and digital product experiences. This role turns business data into practical tools, dashboards, integrations, or features that support better decisions and outcomes.

Based in Cambridge, UK, you will partner with product, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver maintainable solutions, ensure data reliability, and scale data workflows across brands.

Qualifications

  • Experience building data products, internal tools, or analytics workflows.
  • Strong SQL, scripting, API, data modeling, or BI/reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous business questions into practical solutions.
  • Understanding of customer, commerce, product usage, or digital experience data.
  • Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data products, reporting layers, integrations, or workflow tools that support product, commerce, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify business needs and translate them into maintainable technical solutions.
  • Improve the reliability, usability, and accessibility of product and customer data.
  • Support analytics, experimentation, segmentation, personalization, or operational reporting where appropriate.
  • Work with engineering, product, marketing, e-commerce, and business systems teams to align data models and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse data capabilities across inMusic brands.
  • Document data logic, assumptions, and usage patterns clearly.
