Job summary

Bank of China London Branch is seeking a Business Analyst to drive dataflow analysis and support automation initiatives within the DPMO. You will liaise with multiple business lines and Head Office to improve efficiency while ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

The role requires experience in data, IT or project management, strong analytical skills and excellent communication. Mandarin is preferred. This is a full-time position based in London with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/Data Science/Accounting/Banking or Finance.
• Experience in Data, Project Management or IT role.
• Experience in software development, project management or database projects.
• Good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Access, Project, Visio or Python preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and Mandarin preferred.
• Team player with attention to detail and good time management.
• Analytical, problem solving and quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Carry out business requirement analysis and support automation across the Bank.
• Liaise with business lines and Head Office and learn best practice to improve efficiency while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Review current processes and propose new ones to optimise workflow.
• Collaborate with IT and business lines for development, testing, implementation and upgrades of IT projects.
• Research potential solutions to increase efficiency and automation across processes.
• Coordinate with IT QA teams to conduct system and UAT testing and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare reports for Management, auditors or regulators as required.
• Undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned.
