Job summary

MacIntyre, a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities, is seeking a Data Protection Coordinator to join the Compliance Team. The role focuses on protecting personal information, ensuring rights are upheld, and maintaining compliance with data protection laws across the organisation.

You will support day-to-day data protection operations, handle information rights requests, contribute to DPIAs, investigate incidents, and provide guidance to colleagues while developing

Qualifications

• Experience within data protection, information governance or compliance related role.
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures and guidance and apply them in a practical operational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• The ability to produce clear and accurate documentation, reports and records.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to learn and develop specialist knowledge.
