Job summary

Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is seeking a proactive Data Privacy Analyst to join its Data Privacy team in Basingstoke. This hybrid role involves working from home and in-office two days per week, focusing on data protection compliance, DSR handling, and privacy advocacy across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data protection, strong knowledge of UK GDPR, excellent communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders, with a customer-focused service mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Data Protection, Privacy, Compliance, Governance, or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgement, discretion, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for data subjects, managing and responding to Data Subject Rights Requests (DSRs).
• Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Deputy DPO in maintaining compliance with data protection legislation.
• Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on data protection requirements and best practice.
• Help investigate and escape data protection incidents and potential breaches.
• Maintain data protection records, registers, policies, and compliance documentation.
• Support the delivery of privacy training, communications, and awareness initiatives across the business.
• Work collaboratively with teams across SNG to embed a strong culture of data protection and privacy.

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Data Privacy Analyst to join our Data Privacy team in Basingstoke. You'll take our hybrid approach of working from home, and in the office 2 days per week.
