Job summary

Roche is seeking a Data Expert for the Compliance by Design team, based in Welwyn. You will work with data policy experts, managers, and scientists to create user-friendly guidance and tools to help researchers access and apply data policies responsibly and efficiently.

You will map resources, identify gaps, and design informational materials and chatbots to streamline data handling and governance across R&D.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills, verbal communication/presentation skills, interpersonal skills and empathy for users.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting policy guidelines and tailoring communications for different audiences.
• Coordination experience in a non-classroom setting (extracurricular activities or a job).
• Experience with scientific data analysis or computational methods is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data-policy questions from scientists and data managers to identify trends.
• Develop informational materials and interactive tools translating global data policies into guidance.
• Collaborate with Roche data policy experts to seek advice when materials are unclear.
• Discuss proposals and review materials with team using different communication methods.
