Chroma Recruitment is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join a growing technology team in Manchester on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on building scalable, secure data platforms and delivering robust data services that support customer engagement and decision-making.

You will design integrations, improve data quality, and work with engineers, architects and product teams to deliver reliable data solutions across CRM and data warehouse ecosystems.

Qualifikationen

• Strong SQL and data modelling expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM/Customer 360.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and modern data integration platforms.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Java, Python or similar languages.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and distributed architectures.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join a growing technology team responsible for delivering and enhancing customer data solutions that support business-critical operations. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms.

Working closely with engineers, architects, product teams and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in designing integrations, improving data quality, and delivering robust data services that underpin customer engagement and decision-making

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Strong SQL and data modelling expertise.

• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and distributed architectures.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and streaming technologies.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake or Databricks).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
