We're a diverse employer with a flexible, hybrid working approach, ensuring everyone gets the opportunity to come to work and be the best version of themselves.

What You'll Be Doing

The role sits within the Data and Analytics Team, led by the Data and Analytics Manager, and includes six experienced Business Intelligence Developers. You’ll work closely with this team and stakeholders across the organisation to shape and deliver a robust, scalable, and trusted data platform.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be hands‑on with the development and maintenance of data pipelines, platform components, and integrations. You’ll work closely with BI developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver reliable, high‑quality data solutions. You’ll also play a key role in evolving platform processes, supporting team capability, and ensuring the EDAP remains secure, scalable, and fit for purpose.

  • Develop and maintain EDAP – Design and implement new technologies and practices, ensuring they remain robust and effective.
  • Shape technical strategy – Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to define, evolve, and deliver the EDAP strategy.
  • Champion best practice – Promote high standards in data platform development and analytical tooling to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Drive innovation – Identify opportunities to improve how the organisation uses its systems and data to generate insight and value.
  • Contribute to data architecture – Work with the architecture group to align EDAP with enterprise data architecture and design principles.
  • Define repeatable processes – Develop and maintain processes for translating business requirements into clear, implementable technical specifications.
  • Engage stakeholders – Collaborate with business users to clarify requirements, ensuring solutions deliver real value and meet objectives.
What We’re Looking For
Data Platforms:
  • Experience designing and building scalable, modular data platforms
  • Familiarity with data mesh, data products, and modern data architecture
  • Preparing and structuring data for machine learning applications
  • Secure by design – including row-level security, role‑based access control (RBAC), and data privacy awareness
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Lakehouse)
  • Building and managing pipelines across varied sources (SQL, APIs, SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Supporting and enabling reporting and analytics tools
Delivery experience:
  • Stakeholder engagement – all the way from requirements gathering through development and on to implementation and training
  • Collaborative mindset – actively supports team learning and skill development
What you can expect from us:
  • Generous pension contributions with an employer contribution of up to 14%
  • Real living wage
  • Income protection, critical illness cover & death in service insurance
  • Employee healthcare
  • Parental and adoption leave
  • Learning & development opportunities and study support
  • Travel season ticket loans
  • Volunteering days and charity payroll giving
  • Onsite gym
  • Social clubs and events
