A leading media company in the UK is seeking a skilled Senior Platform Manager to oversee its proprietary software platform. This role involves managing user interactions, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with technical teams to enhance functionality. Strong communication skills and a knack for problem-solving are essential. The position offers a hybrid work model, balancing in-office and remote work.
The Senior Platform Manager will fulfil a critical role in our media planning and investment workstream, working with- and evangelizing for our proprietary software platform. This role involves equal parts platform management, user engagement and technical work. This role has one direct report (for now).
This role reports to an Associate Director, who has been working on this platform for eight years and is looking to transition to a more strategic role that is less involved in the day‑to‑day work. It currently is scoped to have one executive reporting into it, but that may change in either direction.
Note that this role does not require any knowledge of programming languages, and you will not be required to do any actual ‘software development’.
