Job summary

Openwork Limited is hiring a Data Operations Analyst in Swindon on a hybrid basis (3 days a week). The role focuses on delivering high-quality data reporting and visualisation using Power BI and Excel, supporting MI/BI consumers across the organization.

The package includes a £30,000 salary, a 7.5% on-target bonus, a pension contribution of up to 5% matched with 5%, plus benefits such as critical illness cover and income protection.

Qualifications

• Coding knowledge/experience is preferred, either in a work setting or via degree.
• Interest or experience in data visualisations is ideal.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular reporting and data visualisation in Power BI and Excel for MI/BI consumers.
• Use productionised datasets to develop semantic layers to support development.
• Manipulate and analyse large data sets to explore new data outputs, reports or dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and set expectations.
• Identify and address data deficiencies and gaps in analytical capabilities.
• Set MI reporting policies and Power BI standards; contribute to security model.
• Build relationships across the Openwork Partnership to ensure delivery.

Job description

As the Data Operations Analyst, you will support the Data Operations team to ensure that the Openwork Group has access to high quality and trusted information to assess performance, provide insight, and inform decisions.

Please note, this is a hybrid role in Swindon 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide regular reporting and data visualisation in Power BI and Excel, using a range of data for consumption by MI/BI consumers.
• Utilise productionised datasets to develop semantic layers to support development.
• Manipulate and analyse large data sets for sandboxing potential new data outputs, reports, or dashboards for MI/BI Consumers, and to inform what productionised data may be required.
• Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and set expectations of what will be delivered.
• Assist in identifying and overcoming data deficiencies and gaps in analytical capabilities.
• Set MI reporting policies, PowerBI Standards, and contribute to reporting security model.
• Build effective relationships across the Openwork Partnership to ensure successful delivery.

What will you need to succeed?

• Coding knowledge/experience is preferred (any language), whether this is in a work-setting or from a Degree
