The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in data modelling, a strong focus on conceptual and logical models, and familiarity with insurance data standards. Qualifications

Skills

Experience in the insurance industry

Hands-on experience with data modelling tools like Erwin

Expertise in data modelling methodologies (e.g. 3NF, Dimensional, data vault)

Proficiency in SQL and scripting

Excellent problem solving skills

Strong attention to details

Knowledge of insurance data standards such as ACORD

Experience with cloud based data platforms like Snowflake, Azure

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise wide conceptual data model to provide a high level view of data domains, entities and their relationships, and logical data models with detailed attributes, data relationships, and normalization rule, ensuring alignment with business rules and objectives
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into structured data model that meet organisational needs
• Ensure conceptual and logical data models are reusable, scalable and adaptable to evolving business demands
• Partner with business stakeholders, SME and data architect to validate data models and incorporate feedbacks

This role is critical to enabling consistent, scalable and business aligned data structures that support analytics, reporting and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge and understanding of insurance data domains, enterprise dara modelling best practice and experience working with diverse stakeholders across the business and IT., 10+ years of experience in data modelling, with a strong focus on conceptual and logical data models and proven expertise in designing and implementing physical data models
