With a strong culture of innovation and collaboration, this company’s mission is to build modern data ecosystems that enable better business outcomes — and as part of the Data Architecture team, your work will directly shape that vision.

THE ROLE

As a Data Modeller, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level data models that power advanced analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives. You’ll lead the creation of frameworks and standards, ensuring consistency and excellence across all data projects while engaging with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Designing and implementing both relational (3NF) and dimensional (star/snowflake) data models for large-scale financial systems and analytical platforms.
  • Working hands‑on with ETL design, metadata management, and data cataloguing, ensuring robust data lineage and governance.
  • Building standards and frameworks that define how data is structured and managed across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborating closely with architects, data engineers, and analytics teams to ensure data models align with business and technical goals.
  • Leveraging tools such as ERWin, Sparx, RSA, Visio, and handling semi‑structured data formats (JSON, XML, Parquet).
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Data Modeller will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in data modelling within consulting or financial services environments.
  • Strong expertise in ERWin (or equivalent tools such as Sparx, RSA, Visio).
  • Hands‑on experience with relational and dimensional modelling methodologies.
  • Understanding of ETL frameworks, metadata management, and data governance principles.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to senior stakeholders in client‑facing settings.
BENEFITS

The successful Data Modeller will receive the following benefits:

  • Salary: depends on seniority and experience criteria
  • Hybrid working model – 3 days per week onsite in London, both in office and with client engagements.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, pension contribution, and wellness initiatives
  • Professional development and access to cutting‑edge projects across financial services and energy domains
  • Opportunities for career progression within a well‑established practice
