Join a world-renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Data Management Engineer in Warton - Hybrid min 3 days a week onsite

Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Data Management Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Glascoed on a 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rate: £30.49 per hour inside / Umbrella

The role:
  • Working with stakeholders in their assigned function/SDU/LoB in order to identify, elaborate and triage data cleanse requirements
  • Working with functional and line of business representatives in order to identify data standards, change processes and authorities associated with data changes and using these to support the definition of 'change patterns' for each type of data
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Familiar with the principles of data management as defined in such artefacts as the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)
  • Have a working knowledge of configuration management principles, particularly with reference to data
  • Know data change and migrations methods including both manual and automated (e.g. scripted) methods using toolsets such as python and alteryx
  • Have a working knowledge of the principles of data analysis using tools like Tableau and Excel
  • Happy to see IT Support Engineers, IT Customer Service, Junior Data Analysts
