Data Management Assistant

Location: Ware and Broxbourne Campus, Hertford Regional College

Salary: £24,745-£26,155 per annum (36 hours per week, fixed‑term contract until April 2026)

Holiday entitlement: 25 days per annum pro rata. Closing Date: 10th November 2025.

About the Role

This role involves providing a comprehensive range of data management and compliance duties to support the college’s funding and reporting requirements. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the college and with external partners to ensure all learner data is accurate, up to date, and compliant with funding body regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Process learner records, including enrolments, transfers, and withdrawals.
  • Maintain accurate learner data in systems such as FIS, DSAT, SCORE, and FRM.
  • Review and resolve data validation issues identified through system audits.
  • Collaborate with faculty and external stakeholders to ensure data compliance and timely reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Analytical and numerate mindset with experience in a data or compliance environment.
  • Ability to process complex data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a customer‑facing role within an educational or related setting is desirable.
Requirements
