A dynamic further education college is looking for a Data Management Assistant to provide comprehensive data management and compliance support. The role requires attention to detail in maintaining learner records and ensuring data accuracy in compliance with funding regulations. Candidates should have experience in a data or compliance environment and possess strong organizational skills. This position offers a full-time opportunity and contributes to the educational environment.
36 hours per week Monday to Friday Fixed Term contract until end of April 2026 – £24,745 - £26,155 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Location: Ware & Broxbourne campus. Holiday Entitlement – 25 Days per annum pro rata. Closing date: 10th November 2025.

This role involves providing a comprehensive range of data management and compliance duties to support the college’s funding and reporting requirements. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the college and with external partners to ensure all learner data is accurate, up to date and compliant with funding body regulations. The position requires great attention to detail when inputting and maintaining learner records, processing enrolments, and managing changes such as transfers and withdrawals. You will also assist in reviewing and resolving data validation issues identified through systems such as FIS, DSAT, SCORE, and FRM, ensuring that all compliance processes are completed accurately and on time to uphold the highest standards of data integrity.
You will have an analytical and numerate mindset and be able to demonstrate experience of working in a data and/or compliance environment within a customer‑facing role. You will have the ability to process complex data accurately and in a timely manner and have good organisational and interpersonal skills.
