Job summary

Anson Mccade is seeking an experienced Data & Machine Learning Architect to lead the design of scalable data and AI platforms from Newcastle. The role focuses on setting technical direction, shaping strategy, and guiding teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

The candidate will own architecture across data engineering, ML and analytics, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and mentor engineers while promoting best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data architecture, ML architecture or advanced data engineering roles.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms and modern data architectures.
• Proven ability to design and govern large-scale data and AI solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD, MLOps and infrastructure-as-code approaches.
• Confident communicator able to work with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Eligible for SC clearance (5+ years continuous UK residency).
