Job summary

Equifax is seeking a driven Consultant to join the Core Analytics team within the Data and Analytics division in the UK. The role collaborates with internal analytics teams, data owners and technology squads on data investigations and impact analyses.

A new team will focus on incidents and complex client queries; you will manage analysts, assign priorities, guide analysis, and contribute analytical output for governance councils, requiring strong SQL/Python and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Relevant numerical degree with a 2:1 or above.
• Experience in SQL and Python in a data analytics environment.
• Strong experience with UK Credit Bureau data.
• Analytical mindset with ability to dig into data and processes.
• Strong technical analytics expertise to solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Hands‑on experience in a data analytics environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep data knowledge across consumer and commercial data sources.
• Apply data mining tools and programming languages (SQL, Python) for analysis.
• Represent D&A in incident meetings and propose analyses.
• Triage and manage incidents and client data queries.
• Provide analytical support to proactive data improvement initiatives.
• Prioritize work across a team of analysts and diverse projects.
• Write and present proposals and results to governance councils.
