A public health regulatory agency in Greater London is seeking a Data Integrity Advisor to ensure data assurance and integrity for medical devices. This full-time role involves training and coordinating data validation checks, improving team processes, and serving as a key contact for registration inquiries. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, significant experience in data processing, and a relevant degree. This position offers a hybrid working model with required office attendance.
This vacancy is open to all Civil Service employees and employees of accredited non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs) who were appointed on merit following a fair and open competition; or were appointed to a permanent post through an exception in the Civil Service Commissioners' rules.
We are currently looking for a Data Integrity Advisor to join our Authorisation Lifecycle Function within the Healthcare Quality and Access group.
This is a full-time opportunity, on a permanent basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf London, E14 4PU. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas.
Government departments and agencies are working towards implementing a minimum 60% attendance in office sites. We are currently implementing a flexible, hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 8 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, this can flex up to 12 days a month, with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency enhance and improve the health of millions of people every day through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devices, underpinned by science and research.
The objective of the Healthcare Quality and Access portfolio is to drive quality and critically appraise benefits and risks to inform robust decisions on healthcare access including accelerated access pathways. It will do this by bringing together a fusion of our capabilities across both medicines and medical devices to enable licensing and market access, as well as ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
The Authorisation Lifecycle function will realise efficiencies by centralising and automating high volume low complexity tasks. This function will become the enabling engine room, central to delivery of the frontline HQA portfolio.
Support the Head of Performance and Delivery Manager in ensuring the team is trained and kept up to date in the Agency’s registration system and processes for scrutiny of Device Registration (DR) data. This includes supporting business processes utilizing relevant medical device regulatory expertise and resource from across the Agency to ensure a consistent agreed level of data assurance and integrity in compliance with the developing UK regulations.
