Job summary

Bristol Medical School is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join the National Child Mortality Database (NCMD). You will translate complex health data into actionable insights to inform policy and improve child health outcomes in England.

The role is hybrid, with at least two days in the office weekly, and involves collaborating with clinicians, academics, and data specialists to develop reporting solutions and dashboards for national learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Proficient SQL skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Ability to clean, manipulate and QA data for reporting.
• Experience in data reporting and visualization (Power BI).
• Experience handling sensitive or confidential data with discretion.
• Strong communication to explain insights to non-technical audiences.
