Job summary

Sage in the United Kingdom is hiring a Data Engineer to own and accelerate data pipelines and analytics products within the Routes to Revenue team. You will manage Snowflake environments, develop reusable datasets, and automate data workflows to drive faster insights for customer growth.

The role requires strong SQL, cloud experience (AWS), and collaboration with analysts and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions. Hybrid work from Newcastle is offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of data pipelines and analytics products.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale datasets.
• Experience with cloud platforms and AWS services.
• Experience designing data pipelines or analytics workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines consolidating data from multiple sources.
• Support Snowflake environment management, quality, governance and scalability.
• Develop reusable datasets and data products for migration, retention and expansion.
• Automate manual data workflows to improve speed to insight.
• Contribute to customer segmentation models and scoring engines.
• Assist in developing AI-enabled tools using AWS Bedrock and related services.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable solutions.
