Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Data Engineer in Nottingham to join our on-site team. You will build and maintain data pipelines, develop a self-serve data platform, and collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer in a multidisciplinary squad.

Requirements include 2+ years in data engineering, SQL and Python, and experience with Azure Databricks and Spark. This permanent, on-site role supports Boots’ data-driven decision making across retail and pharmacy domains.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on data engineering experience in analytics and/or data science environments.
• Strong skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience with large-scale data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Experience with Spark or distributed compute frameworks.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling is preferred.
