Job summary

A leading health technology company in Basingstoke seeks a Data Engineer to develop and construct data products and integrate them into business processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in T-SQL, experience with Azure ETL services, and a relevant degree. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Skilled at optimizing large and complicated SQL statements.
• Good understanding of Service Oriented architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and construct data products and services.
• Implement data flows to connect operational systems.
• Write ETL/ELT scripts for optimal performance.

Skills

Knowledge of Azure ETL services (Data Factory, Synapse etc)

Proficiency in Python and experience with PySpark

Strong proficiency in T-SQL

Experience with various databases (e.g., MS SQL, Azure Cosmos DB)

Experience of Agile development methodologies

Curious, eager to learn

Education

Relevant degree or industry recognized qualification
