Job summary

Mercor is recruiting UK-Based Data Engineering experts for a short, intensive project with a globally leading AI lab. You will develop production pipelines using SQL and Python, collaborating with experts to generate deliverables that train frontier AI models.

40 hours per week, 14 September to 10 October 2026, UK business-hours rhythm. Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom with the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineer with production pipelines.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for ETL/ELT.
• Experience with streaming and data warehousing.
• Familiar with Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt and cloud data tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and own production-grade data pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI lab experts to deliver outputs.
• Document workflows and contribute to training data.
