Job summary

Nextlink is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native data solutions in a GCP environment. The role focuses on data warehouse and graph modelling, with hands-on work across BigQuery, Dataform, Airflow, and Terraform.

Collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data platforms is essential. The successful candidate will contribute to CI/CD automation, metadata management, and data governance, ensuring scalable and reliable data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong data modelling experience in data warehouse and graph paradigms.
• Proficient across GCP data stack, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and data governance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation frameworks.
• Build and optimize data processing solutions using BigQuery, Dataform, and Python.
• Develop, schedule, and monitor Airflow DAGs within Google Cloud Composer.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Create Terraform modules for IaC and automation.
• Maintain enterprise data models across data warehouse and graph databases.
• Develop Cloud Spanner schemas, queries, and indexes.
• Implement data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
