Job summary

AND Digital is seeking a Data Engineer for a 3‑month hybrid role in Leeds. You will build data pipelines to enable informed decision making and support data science initiatives across client projects.

The role requires hands-on data work, strong Python and SQL coding, and experience with Snowflake and Azure DataBricks. Candidates should be comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and DataOps practices to ensure high‑quality data products.

Qualifications

• Develop pipelines that bring data to life for decision making, delivering insight or data science applications.
• Hands-on with data quality, flow and organisation of information.
• Experience coding in Python and SQL.
• Solid experience of Snowflake and Azure DataBricks.
• Understanding AI usage of data.
• Exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) and related technologies.
• Experience with DataOps concepts.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Develop pipelines that brings data to life for decision making, either delivering insight or for more sophisticated data science applications
• Be confident in being hand on with data, applying the practicalities of quality, flow, and organisation of information.
• Bring experience in coding in Python and SQL
• Have solid experience of Snowflake and Azure DataBricks
• Have a good understanding of AI usage of data
• Have exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) and experience of associated technologies (for example with AWS: DynamoDB, Redshift, Kinesis Pipelines, Glue, Lambda, QuickSight, etc)
• Have experience with DataOps concepts
