Job summary

develop is hiring an experienced data engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and data platforms from across modern cloud stacks. You will work with Python, SQL and orchestration tools, ensuring data quality, reliability and accessibility while collaborating with client teams.

The role is fully onsite in Newcastle upon Tyne with a base salary in the £65k–£130k range, plus a 10% bonus and comprehensive benefits; progression opportunities are highlighted as the company grows.

Qualifications

• We are looking for at least 4 years of commercial engineering experience with a strong grounding in data engineering.
• Experience with Python, SQL and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) is preferred.
• Experience building production data pipelines and working with data platforms is required.
• Experience with data modelling and data platforms is desirable.
• Experience with Git and orchestration tools like Airflow is preferred.
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders in client-facing environments is desirable.
