Job summary

Peterborough City Council is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and integrate data products and services for the Data Platform. The role reports to the Data Team Leader within the Digital and Customer Access Service, and involves developing data flows across multiple systems, linking operational data, and driving analytics to improve decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and supporting data pipelines and integrations.
• Strong SQL and database skills, with the ability to work confidently with large and complex datasets.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory or Synapse.
