Job summary

Amtis - Digital, Technology, Transformation is seeking a Data Engineer to help build and develop the data platform supporting reporting, analytics and AI initiatives across the organisation. You’ll work across the data lifecycle from ingestion to modelling and reporting, primarily using the Microsoft data stack.

You’ll design pipelines, models and dashboards, ensure data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in Data Engineering across the full data lifecycle.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data services and SQL.
• Ability to design data models and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience deriving insights through reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reliable data pipelines from multiple sources.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to transform and model data for reporting.
• Create database structures, schemas and data models.
• Ensure data quality, security and performance across the platform.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Produce high-level and detailed technical designs.
• Explore advanced analytics and AI opportunities to derive value.
