Job summary

Anson McCade seeks a Data Engineer to join a growing technology team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role focuses on delivering modern data solutions, building reliable pipelines powering analytics, AI and critical applications.

You will design, build and maintain data products, work with cloud platforms, streaming tech and modern engineering practices in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building ETL/ELT or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Kafka, Spark or Flink in data platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP cloud services.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
• Understanding of distributed systems and data architecture.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: Up to £70,000

We're looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing technology team delivering modern data solutions for a range of high-profile clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data platforms, helping to build reliable, scalable pipelines that power analytics, AI and business-critical applications.

The Role

You'll design, build and maintain modern data solutions, working alongside engineering, analytics and AI teams to deliver high-quality data products. You'll have the opportunity to work with cloud technologies, streaming platforms and modern engineering practices while developing your technical skills in a collaborative environment.
