GMCA is seeking a Data Engineer to lead scalable data pipelines and support the DDaT strategy on a permanent basis. You will work across cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and maintain secure, compliant data landscapes.
The role requires strong SQL/ETL skills, experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and related Microsoft stack tools, with a commitment to data quality and automation.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is at the forefront of innovation in digital services. We are committed to enhancing our data-driven capabilities to support our Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) strategy. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Data Engineer to join our Digital Team on a permanent contract basis.
You will be responsible for leading in and developing of stable, reusable, and scalable data pipeline solutions in line with GMCA's DDaT Strategy. Working with cross-functional teams to implement digital solutions to address data-related issues.
You will be joining an award-winning digital service that is enabling the organisation to be one of the leading Combined Authorities in the country and supporting the reform of public services across Greater Manchester in line with the Greater Manchester Strategy.
