A leading retailer in Manchester is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. You will collaborate with various business areas to build data solutions using Python and SQL, contributing to a new cloud data platform. £45,000 to £55,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)

We’re looking for Data Engineers to join us and help transform the way we do business. We’re building a new data platform in Databricks to improve our data science, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities, and you’ll play a key part in this. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – spending a minimum of one day each month working from the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
As a Data Engineer at Co-op, you’ll collaborate with the wider team and use coding languages such as Python and SQL to solve complex data problems and optimise outcomes across our Food Retail, Funeralcare, and Insurance business areas.
