Job summary

Arc IT Recruitment Limited is seeking a Data Engineer for a financial services client. You will develop a cloud-based Lakehouse on Azure, building ELT pipelines and ensuring governance to support pricing, risk and performance analytics.

You will work in an Agile/DevOps environment, partner with data scientists to productionise ML models, and collaborate with analysts, architects and engineers. Remote UK with occasional travel to London; salary up to 85k plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering and building data pipelines.
• Strong Lakehouse and data management knowledge.
• Strong Python and SQL.
• Dimensional modelling (star schema) for Power BI.
• Insurance or financial services data, MI or reporting experience.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD and data operations.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy ELT pipelines and data products with strong governance
• Assess the impact of change on the data model and handle new requests and incidents
