We're looking for an exceptional Data Engineer to join a high‑performing Data Engineering team working at the core of a quantitative investment environment. This team builds the platforms that power systematic trading strategies, sophisticated research, and real‑time investment decisions.
You'll be working on a multi‑petabyte data platform, ingesting and processing billions of datapoints every day from thousands of global data sources—tackling hard distributed systems problems at serious scale.

- Deep understanding of databases such as Iceberg, Postgres, or MongoDB
- A passion for problem‑solving, clean design, and high‑quality engineering
- Confidence working independently, gathering requirements, and collaborating across teams
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed systems, streaming, or orchestration frameworks
- Hands‑on exposure to large‑scale data processing and performance optimisation
- Contributions to open‑source projects
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI‑driven tools
