Job summary

Copello Global is seeking a BI & Data Engineer for an established organisation based near Whiteley to join the internal IT team.

You will build Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, and work with Azure SQL, Synapse and Microsoft Fabric to improve data quality and governance across reporting environments. Strong SQL and data modelling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL / T-SQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT or data pipelines
• Strong understanding of data modelling
• Experience with CI/CD
• Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills

We’re working with an established organisation based in Whiteley who are looking for a BI & Data Engineer to join their internal IT team.

This is a hands‑on role sitting between data, technology and business operations, with the opportunity to improve reporting, automate processes and build reliable data solutions.

The Role:

• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
• Develop SQL / T‑SQL solutions
• Work with Azure SQL, Synapse and Microsoft Fabric
• Improve data quality, governance and reporting
• Support EDI, integrations and automation
• Support data warehouse, database and reporting environments

What We're Looking For:

• Strong SQL / T‑SQL

• Strong understanding of data modelling
• Experience with CI/CD
• Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements‑gathering skills

Desirable: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Logic Apps, Dynamics 365 F&O, EDI, Azure DevOps, Power Automate/Power Apps and data governance.
