Job summary

Cyber Security training courses in Cheshire invites a Data Engineer to join a growing technology team on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office). The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines and enabling stakeholders with actionable insights, supported by modern cloud and data warehousing practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Familiarity with data modelling, ETL workflows and data warehousing.
  • Some experience with cloud platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain scalable systems for processing data
  • Build and manage pipelines that convert raw data into actionable insights
  • Strengthen and support data warehouse structures and ETL workflows
  • Partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions
  • Track and improve the performance and reliability of data systems
  • Sustain and enhance integration between systems via APIs

Data Engineer - Cheshire - Hybrid (3 Days) - Up to £45,000

Develop your cloud, warehousing and API skills within a growing organisation.

I'm partnering with a rapidly growing UK-based organisation who are investing heavily in their data capabilities and are looking to add a Data Engineer to the expanding technology team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer who enjoys building t solutions, developing scalable pipelines and working closely with stakeholders to unlock the value of business data. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where you'll work alongside experienced technical professionals and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and maintain scalable systems for processing data
  • Build and manage pipelines that convert raw data into actionable insights
  • Strengthen and support data warehouse structures and ETL workflows
  • Partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions
  • Track and improve the performance and reliability of data systems

Skills & Experience:
  • Background working as a Data Engineer or in a comparable position
  • Solid SQL capabilities and strong command of Python
  • Familiarity with data modelling, ETL workflows and data warehousing concepts
  • Some experience working with cloud platforms
  • Sharp problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communicator who collaborates well with others
