Hexegic Limited is seeking data and software engineers to build and maintain data pipelines for clients in a military setting. This is an on-site role requiring an active DV security clearance.

You will liaise with data scientists, analysts and product owners to develop data-driven applications and end-to-end pipelines, ensuring robust processing with API integrations and health checks. The position offers a base salary of £50,000-£70,000 and a £5,000 annual professional development budget, with

• Experience building data pipelines and platforms, preferably in a data/engineering context.
• Strong Python proficiency or familiarity with similar languages.
• Experience integrating data via APIs and coordinating data retrieval.
• Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating into technical tasks.

Core Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts and product owners


• Developing user facing applications


• Data pipelines building for the creation of simple and bespoke data pipelines


• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data projects

What we are looking for

• Strong python proficiency, or familiarity with similar languages


• API awareness for data retrieval and integration into processing pipelines


• Experience of stakeholder management and requirements capture


• Understanding of pipeline scheduling and health checks
