the7stars is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data and Tech solutions team. You will build and activate data from multiple sources, including Looker, Google Cloud, and Salesforce platforms, delivering scalable ELT pipelines and actionable insights for marketing performance.

The Insight, Analytics and Data unit you will be a part of are an award winning multi discipline team of 25. In recent years we have won prestigious awards including Effie, Campaign, Media Week and IPA Effectiveness Awards, as well as being awarded the IPA’s Effectiveness Accreditation on all three occasions (2021, 2023, 2025).
As aData Engineeryouwill be a key member of a specialistData andTech solutions team within the7stars.
You will beusing cloud platforms(primarilyGoogleCloudPlatform, but also AWSand Azure) to build databases, transform, model, and activate data from multiple sourcesincludingadvertising platforms, analytics platforms, and client data.Your role in the team will bedeliver best- in- class data visualisation solutions that unite agency teams and engage marketing stakeholders.Experience with Lookerpreferable, or similar experience with otherBI tools such as Tableau orPowerBI.
You will also be involved in future facing marketing transformation projects for the agency and our clients – integrating artificial intelligence and scaling efficient ways of uniting data to deliver market leading tech media planning and activation solutions.You will need to be familiar with howAPIs are configured.
You will need to have strong experience with usingGoogle BigQuery, and working with the widerGoogle Marketing Platform stack, including familiarity with Google Analytics data, and will have experience integrating other 3rd party technologies to enhance our advertisers’ understanding of campaign and business performance.
Experience with integrating and onboarding data from SalesforceMarketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM is required.Any other e xperience with utilising data clean room s and integrating 1 st party audiences from clients to 3 rd party solutions would also be beneficial.
This role will play a key part in enabling clients to fully lean in to utilising their data to its full potential, improving the effectiveness of their marketing goals, and helping them gain valuable, actionable insights about their audiences.
Our working pattern is Monday-Thursday in our Covent Garden offices, followed by hybrid working on Friday.
