Job summary

Logic Managed Services in London is seeking a Contract Delivery Manager to drive our Global Data Strategy. You will coordinate data initiatives across Product, Engineering and Transformation, guiding multiple teams to deliver data products and programmes.

The role combines hands-on delivery with strategic planning: manage dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Databricks and data platforms experience are highly valued, along with Jira/Azure DevOps usage.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering data initiatives across programmes, projects and/or data products.
• Strong experience working with Data, Engineering and Product teams.
• Experience with data platforms and Data Lakes; Databricks is a big advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and Lean delivery practices.
• Ability to manage dependencies, risks and competing priorities.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle; analytical, delivery-focused approach.

Contract Delivery Manager – Global Data Strategy

Location: London / Hybrid

Contract: 6 months+

Rate: c£400 per day

Are you an experienced Delivery Manager with a strong background in data initiatives and technical delivery?

We're looking for a Contract Data Delivery Manager to join a Global Data Strategy function, helping multiple engineering teams deliver high-quality data products, programmes and projects aligned to strategic business objectives.

This is an opportunity to step into a complex data environment and make an immediate impact — bringing teams together, managing dependencies, removing blockers and ensuring strategic data initiatives are delivered successfully.

The Role

You'll work at the intersection of Data, Product, Engineering and Transformation, coordinating delivery across multiple teams and ensuring everyone is aligned around common outcomes.

You'll be responsible for:

• Coordinating delivery across multiple engineering and cross-functional teams
• Delivering data initiatives across programmes, projects and/or data products
• Managing complex dependencies, blockers, risks and competing priorities
• Facilitating cross-team planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives and roadmap sessions
• Building consensus and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
• Partnering with Product Managers and Product Owners on roadmap and release planning
• Translating product and data strategy into clear, actionable delivery plans
• Working with Engineering Managers to improve ways of working and delivery effectiveness
• Tracking delivery health, KPIs and progress against strategic objectives
• Identifying and implementing improvements to delivery processes and workflows
• Driving continuous improvement across the wider Data organisation
• Ensuring technical delivery remains aligned with broader business and product objectives

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager / Technical Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives within a data and technology environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Proven experience delivering data initiatives, including programmes, projects and/or data products
• Strong experience working with Data, Engineering and Product teams
• Experience managing complex, multi‑team technology and data deliveries
• Strong understanding of data platforms and data engineering environments
• Experience working with Data Lakes
• Databricks experience is a big advantage!
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and Lean delivery practices
• Strong ability to manage dependencies, risks and competing priorities
• Experience influencing and building consensus without direct authorityGood understanding of the software development lifecycle
• A structured, analytical and outcome‑focused approach to delivery
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or Linear
• Experience with OKRs, roadmap planning, strategic transformation or delivery maturity/process improvement would also be highly beneficial.
