Job summary

Calibre Candidates Ltd. is seeking an experienced Data Delivery Manager to lead complex data programmes across the P&C and London Market sectors.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinating onsite and offshore teams, managing risks and stakeholders, and ensuring high standards of data architecture, governance and cloud transformation. The role requires hands-on leadership with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark and Erwin, plus strong collaboration with data architects, engineers

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex data programmes or delivery teams.
• Recent P&C insurance and London Market delivery experience is essential.
• Experience coordinating onsite and offshore delivery teams across multiple workstreams.
• Strong background in enterprise-scale data transformation, cloud migration and data integration.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark and Erwin.
• Solid understanding of data architecture, warehousing and ETL frameworks.
• Ability to provide technical direction and challenge solutions with data engineers.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, security and migration controls.
• Experience operating within structured governance and Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery across enterprise data programmes from requirements to deployment.
• Coordinate onsite and offshore teams with clear priorities and accountability.
• Manage dependencies and risks across multiple data workstreams.
• Provide technical leadership across data platforms including Azure Databricks and Data Factory.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, stakeholders, vendors and partners to maintain momentum.
• Oversee data architecture, models, ETL pipelines and migration approaches for scalable solutions.
• Manage programme governance: delivery plans, milestones, RAID logs, status reports.
• Ensure data governance, quality and compliance controls are embedded in delivery.
• Support cloud modernization and legacy-to-cloud migration initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and practices.
