Data & Compliance Manager – Full‑time, School‑based role

This role supports a leading independent school, maintaining data systems, ensuring compliance, and providing reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain school data systems.
  • Ensure accurate pupil and staff records, timetables, and permissions.
  • Produce and analyse reports (Power BI and other tools) supporting teaching, learning, and whole‑school performance.
  • Lead on compliance matters, ensuring GDPR and regulatory requirements (DfE, ISI, ISC) are met.
  • Maintain the school’s compliance database, mandatory training records, and policies.
  • Support inspections, audits, and readiness processes.
  • Provide training and support for staff on MIS systems and reporting tools.
  • Assist with timetabling, academic scheduling, and other administrative duties.
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong experience with data management and MIS systems (SIMS or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Knowledge of GDPR, compliance frameworks, and inspection requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative team player with high attention to detail.
