Job description
Core OS Services

SSH, Telnet, RDP, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Work 24/7 shift basis, acting as a hardware support expert liaison to other technical and non‑technical teams (networking, compute, compliance, business operations).
  • Understand internal customer problems and provide timely technical solutions.
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware.
  • Perform system board level repair and fault diagnosis to meet SLAs.
  • Plan and commission new rack positions and participate in the design and commissioning of new whitespaces.
  • Conduct structured cabling installation, including fiber and copper (e.g., looming, term & test).
  • Keep up with the latest technologies and apply them appropriately.
  • Adhere to defined Health & Safety processes.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of data center design, including electrical and cooling plant operation.
  • Basic knowledge of airflow management (hot aisle, cold aisle, containment).
  • Experience with rack, stack equipment, and commissioning of new racks.
  • Strong structured cabling skills on fiber and copper (e.g., looming, term & test).
  • Systems administration experience (Linux and/or Windows Servers).
  • Hardware repair, diagnosis, and break‑fix expertise.
  • Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, basic troubleshooting).
  • IT hardware concepts (RAID, SAN, x86 architecture, SCSI, FC, Ethernet, iLO).
  • Base operating system installation and configuration knowledge.
