Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Services & Compliance Manager in London to lead day-to-day maintenance for high-uptime data centre operations. You will oversee HV/LV systems, subcontractors, and client safety frameworks while mentoring engineering staff and driving reliability improvements.

The role requires extensive experience in mission-critical facilities, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to building services, risk management, and reporting within a CBRE environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Data Centre or Critical Environment operations.
• A nationally recognised electrical qualification to at least HND standard or 10 years relevant experience with ONC / C&G.
• Previous appointment as HV/LV Authorised Person (AP) is preferred.
• 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
• Ability to lead, motivate and direct a small team of technicians/operatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with CERMTM procedures and Client CEM Risk Management Framework through SOP/MOP/EOP management.
• Operate all building systems competently (HV isolations/operations).
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental initiatives on the account.
• Provide technical support to the engineering team and manage incident reports.
• Lead technical development of the engineering team and drive improvements.
• Attend client and operations meetings and contribute to monthly/quarterly reports.
