Job summary

Experis UK is seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to support a critical programme focused on the physical audit and assessment of multiple data centre environments. The role requires coordinating audit activities and managing stakeholders to inform a major infrastructure programme planned for next year.

The position is based in Wokingham with hybrid 50/50 working arrangements, and a contract through 05/07/2027. Active SC clearance is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the physical audit of data centre facilities and associated infrastructure assets.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and reporting to ensure audits are delivered on time and to standards.
• Coordinate activities across technical teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party partners.
• Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and actions throughout the audit programme.
• Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure accurate documentation and audit outputs are captured for future programme planning.
• Support the development of recommendations and transition plans arising from audit findings.
• Manage site access, audit logistics, and resource coordination as required.
• Drive delivery while ensuring security, operations, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the physical audit of data centre facilities and associated infrastructure assets.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and reporting mechanisms to ensure audit activities are delivered on time and to the required standards.
• Coordinate activities across technical teams, operational stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party partners.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments.
• Knowledge of data centre facilities, physical infrastructure, and operational processes.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation, migration, consolidation, or remediation programmes.
• Familiarity with regulated or highly secure operational environments.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Project Manager who can quickly integrate into the programme, bring structure to complex activities, and effectively coordinate teams to deliver a comprehensive data centre audit.
