Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands‑on Data Centre Engineer to support and maintain Dell hardware at a client site. This role involves hardware diagnostics, part replacements, firmware upgrades, and inventory management, ensuring systems remain operational and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair Dell server hardware.
  • Replace or reseat components as needed.
  • Run diagnostics and upload logs for validation.
  • Perform firmware upgrades.
  • Manage onsite parts inventory (inbound/outbound).
  • Document service activity and part replacements.
  • Coordinate with Unisys and client teams for escalations and scheduling.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • Experience with server hardware support, ideally Dell PowerEdge XE9680
  • Strong problem‑solving and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently on‑site.
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
