Job summary

Turner & Townsend in London is seeking experienced Cost Managers to join our Real Estate cost management team. You will support feasibility studies, prepare cost plans and tender documentation, manage post-contract cost variations and reports, and contribute to value engineering initiatives across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Support feasibility studies and the preparation of procurement reports.
• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans, including the production and presentation of final cost plans.
• Support tendering and procurement activities, including managing pre-qualification processes, preparing tender lists, compiling preliminaries, undertaking tender analysis, producing tender reports, and preparing contractual documentation.
• Manage post-contract cost variations and change control processes, escalating significant changes where appropriate.
• Undertake cost checks and valuations, ensuring all cost management activities are completed accurately and within required timescales.
• Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to value engineering exercises and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders throughout all stages of project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management activities across feasibility, design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Prepare and present cost plans, estimates, and progress reports to clients and internal teams.
• Oversee tender processes, pre-qualification, tender analysis, and contract documentation.
• Monitor post-contract changes and ensure timely cost reporting and compliance.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives on multiple projects.
