Job summary

Linesight is seeking an Associate Cost Manager to lead a data centre cost team in London, driving client relationships and project delivery with extensive cost-management expertise.

You will mentor teams, head client meetings, negotiate contracts, and contribute to Linesight's strategic growth. This role requires 10+ years in construction cost management, chartered status (RICS preferred), and exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in construction with cost management in data centre sector.
• Chartered and ideally member of RICS.
• Excellent communicator, verbally and in writing.
• Able to head meetings with clients and build strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Act as key account manager in the data centre team, developing client relationships.
• Use business development skills to engage new clients and repeat projects.
• Oversee key strategic client projects.
• Apply cost management experience to achieve project deliverables within contract performance measures.
• Expertly negotiate contract terms and commercial agreements with external clients and contractors.
• Mentor and lead employees to grow and perform at high levels.
• Lead your team to deliver client value and uphold quality.
