Job summary

A leading Insurer/Reinsurer is seeking a Data Business Analyst to enhance its data and analytics platform. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience within the insurance field, exceptional SQL skills, and a strong background in data governance tools. The role offers a hybrid working model, with up to 2 days per week remote work, and a contract duration of 6 months.

• Experience working on Delegated Underwriting projects would be beneficial.

Data Business Analyst

A leading Insurer/Reinsurer is looking for a Data Business Analyst to support the continued growth of the data and analytics platform.

What you bring:

• Solid experience as a Data or Business Analyst within insurance (London Market or specialty lines a big plus).
• Strong SQL skills (Python and Power BI a bonus).
• Data Governance knowledge with experience using tools such as Collibra, Purview etc
• Experience working on Delegated Underwriting projects would be of high interest
• Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams, translating complex data into clear insight.
• Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for improving data quality and process efficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Rate: £650 P/D Inside IR35

Location: London/WFH hybrid, up to 2 days per week
