Job summary

Arva AI is looking for a Data Associate in London to label and annotate financial crime data, KYB/KYC cases, sanctions and transaction alerts to train and evaluate our AI Agents. You’ll define what “correct” looks like and work with Engineering, Product and Compliance.

This early-stage startup offers visa sponsorship, on-site central London work, and the chance to shape ground truth data while learning AI, compliance, and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in related data labeling.
• Interest in AI, financial crime, and compliance.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Label KYB/KYC, sanctions, PEP and alerts to create high-quality training data.
• Grade AI outputs against gold standards and track quality.
• Define labeling guidelines and taxonomy as dataset scales.
• Identify edge cases and contribute to evaluation sets.
• Communicate patterns of errors to engineers and product.
