Job summary

Agntx is seeking a Data Architect for a UK government benefits modernisation programme. The role focuses on data architecture design, modelling and governance to move two live benefits to a modern platform.

Hybrid working with 2 days a week on-site in Leeds. Responsibilities include owning data requirements, documenting data structures and processes, ensuring accurate data flows and compliance reporting, and serving as the bridge between stakeholders, delivery teams and the central data

Qualifications

• Data architecture design and modelling techniques, patterns, tools and standards.
• Data modelling, Master Data Management, metadata management and data governance.
• Presenting data architecture design to technical governance forums.
• Event-based architecture design including publish-subscribe and data streaming.

Responsibilities

• Own the data requirements and objectives for the modernisation across both benefits.
• Identify and document the data structures, data processes and systems the programme needs.
• Make sure data flows to the right places, and that statutory reporting requirements are met.
• Act as the bridge between data stakeholders, the delivery teams and the central data function.
• Present data architecture designs to technical governance forums.
• Shape and support technology initiatives across the programme.
