The Data Architect will own the enterprise data platform strategy and design, delivering scalable lakehouse and data warehouse solutions built on Microsoft Fabric OneLake, Azure and Databricks.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise data architectures for large-scale platforms.
• Proven ability to implement data governance, security, and lineage.
• Strong data modelling skills (Star Schema, Data Vault).
• Proficiency with PySpark and SQL for data processing.

Responsibilities

• Designing enterprise-scale data warehouse and Lakehouse architectures.
• Developing data platform strategies using Microsoft Fabric OneLake and Databricks.
• Building scalable data models and storage frameworks.
• Establishing robust governance, security, lineage and access control frameworks.
• Creating modern data integration and transformation pipelines.
• Defining CI/CD and deployment standards for data products.
• Driving the adoption of best practices across architecture, performance and scalability.
• Collaborating with senior business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.
